Josefina Montoya is one of the Historical Characters American Girl Dolls. Josefina represents New Mexico, during the years 1824-1826. Josefina lives on a ranch near Santa Fe with her family. Josefina is thoughtful, shy, and caring, despite the recent death of her mother. Josefina loves music, flowers, and hopes one day to be a healer. Josefina has dark brown hair and dark brown eyes, and is originally outfitted in a white camisa, maroon skirt, and leather mocassins, all from American Girl. Josefina has a variety of collections: School, Holiday, Birthday, Summer, Winter, and Bedtime. Each of Josefina‘s collections have some type of outfit along with other related accessories. Josefina is the only Latina Historical character. Josefina has six American Girl books, along with 6 additional stories; the books have also been translated into Spanish.
